Will the Kuryakyn Universal ISO Grips 7/8 fit on a 2006 Honda Rebel?

I like the Kuryakyn ISO Grips for my 2006 Honda Rebel, but I found this on the website I was going to order from.

Note: These grips are not compatible with bar-end weights found on many bikes. The majority of the time, removing these weights is a simple affair and the vibration absorbing quality of our ISO-Grips more than compensates for the vibration damping lost by removal of the bar-end weight. Sometimes, the bar-end weight is incorporated into the design of the stock grips and actually supports the end of the grip. Please make sure removing bar-end weights or stock grips will not affect the installation of the ISO-Grips.

So does anyone know wheher they would work or not?|||Hold on there - my wife's 2005 Rebel seems to HAVE bar end weights stock. Maybe they are not functional or just for show but the stock grips sure seem to have 1" wieghts on the ends.

In any case I would try by first removing the dummy (LH) grip and see what it looks like under there. Then you can decide to order them or not...|||They'll fit. Your Rebel doesn't have bar-end weights.|||bar weights are found on sport bikes, they help get rid of high speed wobble. your little cruiser doesnt have bar weights so yes they will work on your bike.
